I’m curious whether anyone knows which height ARC M10 rings will work best for a Leupold VX6 HD 4-24x52mm on a Defiance Deviant Tactical action (20moa rail) with a Bartlein 3B barrel? Nobody anywhere around us carries ARC rings so I can’t go try a couple sizes. I’m figuring mediums will work but I’ve never had ARC rings before; so I figured I’d ask before I order some $175 rings on a guess. Lol.

FWIW, the objective bell measures 60mm (OD) and the tube is 34mm.

A 60mm Objective is 2.36". Half of that is 1.18". That's all you have to overcome, with the ring height and the base height. I don't know what Defiance Deviant Tactical action base height is, but it looks at least 0.30" tall and it may be taller. I can only guess at the height of the rail cause I don't have a Deviant lying around to measure. Anyway if it's at least 0.30" high then ARC 10 Lows 0.94" will work unless your running really fat scope covers. If you have an adjustable comb then just get the ARC 10 mediums 1.10" and have no worries.

Thanks! I think the lows will be great. I was totally exhausted last night and wasn’t thinking straight - I forgot to halve the objective lens diameter and I just couldn’t figure out how these rigs were going to work, LMAO.
This scope comes with Leupold’s Alumina flip-up scope caps. I’ve owned (and still own) a lot of Leupold scopes but I’ve never had these caps. THEY’RE FRIGGIN AWESOME!! They don’t add any additional thickness to the bell, are firm and tightly closed, easy and fast to open and look like they’ll do a great job of keeping the lenses clear in this S Texas dust. I’ve got high hopes for this scope as a dual purpose hunting/light competition scope. It’s got a MOA milled reticle and some revamped turrets for dialing - the 2 major complaints I’ve had about Leupold scopes for years. As a member of their guide & outfitter/Pro program, I’ve been submitting review and requests that were flat-out BEGGING for these changes. Always falling on deaf ears. Until last year, that is! Only time will tell about the accuracy and consistency of the dialing system but they’ve put a LOT of work into the new system and I know they want to be a player in the competitive and LR markets that are exploding. So, I think it’s not unreasonable to think that they MAY have done it right. Sure hope so - they’re glass is equal to or, in most cases, superior to the popular competitor brands. It’s really been the turrets and the reticles that have held them back. We’ll see.
