Hi
I have a razor gen 2 and want ARC m10's....

ARC says torque their rings to 50-55 in. lbs
Vortex recommends only 18 in. Lbs

A pretty big variance, what is everyone torquing their rings to???

Also any experience with m10's marring or blemishinf the finish on scope tube?

Different design so torque is spec’d to account for that. Run them on all my scopes. No issue.

We’ve talked about this in technical detail multiple times. Short story is big single screw equals less clamping force, thus needs more torque. Doing the math this single screw at that torque is still less clamping force than 4 at 18-20. Rest assured the scope will not move and will be pristine in a set of ARCs.
