Hello,

So unless the Earth falls apart, I'll be purchasing an AIAT from MHSA tomorrow. With that, I'll need something to mount my scope (SS 5-20) with. Was going to go with the ARC M10 QD-L Unimount so that I can easily remove the scope and use AI's BUIS if Murphy wants to ruin my day. Well, I was wanting to know how the ARC M10 rings perform as far as return to zero go in comparison to ARC's unimount. I ask mainly because the rings are $175 and the unimount is $300. I will not be switching the optic from rifle to rifle, it will just live on the AIAT.

Anyways, do the rings return to zero just as well as the unimount? And yes, I considered SPUHR, but have decided to go with one of ARC's product.

Mr. Walsh,
ARC rings will remount with no variation if torqued on the scope properly. I’ve used ARC rings for a few years now on different rifles and they have never failed to perform.
I just went through the same scenario and I have remained an ARC patron.

Thank you for the reply, as far as torque goes, are you using an actual wrench or going by feel? Also, I know the single ring screw in 55"/lbs, but what is the value to the cross bolt screw?

Oh for clarification, the rings/unimount will STAY ON the optic, all I will be doing is taking the optic with mount attached off.

Don’t know if ya plan on running night optics, but if not, make sure you get at least medium height rings to clear the “pic” rail.
I had a set of low rings and rear ocular or front objective would touch depending on which direction I moved the scope.

Good purchase. Rings are where it is at. I just purchased a set for my AT and I can't say enough good about them.

Be prepared for the AI AT. I would get the competition trigger although I love the original as well.

The only bad thing about the rifle is the fact that you will never buy another rifle
