Are all Mark 6/8 Optics now Gov Issue Only?

Looking at Leupold's website...every Mark 6/8 optic that I have checked so far has a .gov sale only on it...are they pulling a Mark 4 move on the 6/8s?

And if so, why. I had been considering a new Mark6 1-6, but now . . .

Not sure why but I know Leupold pulled the same back in the day with Mark 4 optics…

I got a Mark 4 in service right now so will ask when I call them I guess...just find it odd that all of them are marked .gov sale only now...
