Are you familiar with barrel vibrations devices?

I have both 7mm mag and 300 win mag in Browning stainless stalker . They both have the BOSS System on them . Yes , it works excellent .
There's a difference between a muzzle brake and a barrel tuner. Thought they work on the same principle (tuning barrel harmonics) I think the OP is referring to a barrel tuner. Perhaps he can clarify, so we don't muddy the waters with responses.

All due respect , the BOSS System is both a barrel harmonic tuner AND muzzle brake just to clarify my response . You can actually interchange the muzzle brake for a solid replacement during hunting if muzzle blast is a concern . The BOSS is adjustable from 0-10 according to the bullet weight you choose to use . When adjusted to company specifications for bullet grains, it shrinks your fired groups dramatically .

Oh, I'm very familiar with the BOSS System, it's been around for quite some time now. I suppose we may be just splitting hairs on what constitutes a "barrel tuner", and concede that the BOSS does tune harmonics.

It would be better, as previously pointed out, if the OP was a bit more specific on what TYPE of barrel tuner he is asking questions about.
