PRS Talk Area 419 14" arca lock set up on a Foundation stock.

Has anyone mounted this setup on a Foundation stock? I emailed Area 419 and they said Foundation should have the hardware, but don't see just the little locking "nuts" & screws for sale alone. Cheapest I see is two of them with a short picatinny rail. (Same that came with the stock from Impact, so that would give me four.) I like the "locking" option on the Area 419 rail and would like to use it.

The foundation forend has a dip just in front of the front action screw, before it runs flat the rest of the way. I've got the Area 419 14" Universal Dovetail on my Fondation and love it. Does take a little modification. I took the rail to a belt sander and sanded down the first ~2" under the barricade stop about 1/8". From there, I run it up tight against the DBM (Hawkins) with a piece of felt between the 2 and just used the hardware Foundation sends with their stocks to mount it up. NOTE: I did not use the action screw hole on the 419 rail and wouldn't recommend it

That's what I am looking for, just the hardware. I bought a complete gun from Impact and it came with a short picatinny rails and two "nuts"/screws to mount it, I would assume I need at least four to mount the Area 418 rail.

I guess I need to call Foundation. Best I can tell it is an Anshutz rail embedded (Screwed) into the Foundation stock, but I can't find the hardware searching that way either.

Correct. Call Impact or Foundation...I think mine came with something like 8 T nuts for the Anschutz rail
