While most people these days are looking to add weight I'm going the opposite direction. I bought an Area 419 10" universal ARCA rail for my Manners EH4 because my tripod and bipods are set-up for ARCA and that length covers the forearm completely. I saw the Area 419 website listed the weight at 3.5oz and 3.3oz/95.2grams but when I got it I was surprised at how beefy it felt. To my surprise when I weighed it came it a 4.6oz(no fasteners).

Anyone else weighed their rails? Wondering if it's normal that their estimates are off or did I get something abnormal. Normally I wouldn't care but I'm trying to go light as possible for a hunting rig so I'm being a little picky.

Check out the SRS Arca Mini. .55oz a piece

One in rear for tripod and one in front for bipod

Id wouldnt be surprised if there was a typo. 33% heavier is kind of a lot for something that shoukd have very little variation

That's what I thought. Looking at it percentage wise seems like a large variation.
