I have seen complaints about reticles being too thick, but never too thin before, but I am seeing more and more people saying the reticle is just too thin on these. I don't have one in hand yet to tell, but was wondering.
I don't mind it, although I haven't played with it much yet, I've yet to mount it. I can see that in dimmer light like dusk it could be too thin. Or if you have problems with your eyesight. Mine isn't perfect, but is correct pretty well with contact lenses. I have yet to get it out to the range yet, though. Maybe this weekend, but probably won't have my gun back from the smith by then.
I have even read they plan to redesign it to make it thicker..? Looking forward to trying mine out when it gets here net to the Athlons I have always touted so highly on
EP4 and SH4 are really well built scopes for the money. I'm sure they will be adding to their reticle offerings once their business catches up with demand.
When the SH4 hits with the SHR reticle, they will be on point.
The current reticle, I think is ERP, is real fine and certainly doesnt obscure your target. It is made for precision and not so much for quick acquisition perhaps?
