Rifle Scopes armalite 1 piece mounts

Re: armalite 1 piece mounts

Nothing specifically wrong with the Armalite mounts. They lock up well and provide a good, less-expensive (comparatively) scope mounting option for any flattop AR.

Now, as for drawbacks, because they use a thumbscrew for torquing down to the rifle, they don't offer as good a quick-release setup, or return-to-zero capability as other mounts like the Larue, ADM, ARMS, etc.

The other issue, or non-issue, with the Armalite mounts is that the only equate to a medium or medium-high ring (they are 0.69" from base to ring bottom or 1.28" from base to center of the ring on the 30mm model).
