Armalite AR-10T---16"bbl???

Re: Armalite AR-10T---16"bbl???

Use earplugs or get a suppressor. Even with a suppressor, I would not do any sustained shooting without ear pro; you will do some damage if you are shooting supersonic rounds.

Accuracy is MORE than adequate for hogs beyond 300yds (within 300...you should be golden).

As for noise...no matter what muzzle device you use (or which suppressor you run unless you are shooting subs), you'll need ear pro. If you don't already have a set, pick up some quality electronic ear pro. While they are a pain at times while hunting, they'll save your hearing and are worth it for that purpose alone. You'll be able to hear all ambient noise, voices, hogs rustling around in the brush, etc., but they'll protect you when you squeeze the trigger.

even supressed you wont want to fire too many rounds from a short barreled AR. Buy a good set of peltor electronic muffs or the in ear type that look like hearing aids. They are cheaper then the hearing aids you will need a few years from now if you don't...
