Has anyone tried one of the Armalite AR10 National Match rifles? I was thinking of grabbing one for local competitions. They say MOA guarantee but was wondering if anyone had actual experience with this model and what returns it was giving. Also interested to hear how the NM two-stage trigger feels.

Thanks,
Hawk

Bet weight and recoil have something to do with it. I likt to shoot my Armalite AR10 prone but not off hand. It dose have a good trigger though

I have an the M15A4T with the NM trigger. I have to be honest, I don't like it. I have shot RRA triggers and I think they are a little nicer. I used to have an AR-10 with a Geisselle trigger and that was the nicest AR trigger I've ever used.

Re: Armalite AR10 National Match

I to am looking at this AR10, have been really looking around and realize that a bolt action would give better performance on long range shooting. My main use for this would initially be bench rest with bipod shooting, with the versatility of being used as a offhand battle rifle, with the iron sights or lighter optics if needed.

I'm a novice at anything longer than 100 yards but am really interested at trying my hand at 600 - 700 yards (or longer). I was looking at a Nightforce optic to mount.

My question is, do you think this is a good one to start out with or is there a better alternative. For the rifle 3000.00 is my budget.

Thank you in advance for any replies!
