Armalite AR50A1 Initial Bolt installation

Hello,
I am attempting to install the bolt for this rifle for the first time and I am having serious difficulties. The receiver just won't allow it to go in??? Any thought or suggestions?

Is the bolt head lined up correctly? Do you have the manual?

Unless the butt stock is removed, you'll need to remove or loosen and lift the cheek piece to line up the bolt into the receiver.
The groove in the bolt body should be at 9 O' clock to line up with the bolt release.
