It has some good pictures and desciption of the weather and course. The author clearly doesn't know much about precision shooting as he mistakes a TRG for an AI in one of the pictures.

Don't forget that authors don't get to set captions. Authors are asked to submit captions with photos, but their suggested captions are often not selected for reason of space, lack of clarity, etc.

This task falls to the editor, or often, to an editorial assistant. That is where the blame must inevitably fall.

My take on this comes from having once been the editor of the periodical in question.
