The "have nots" are being seduced and supported by their puppet masters and financiers as they are the useful idiots. If the puppet masters win, the "have nots" will be the first to go into the meat grinder as they have no redeemable skills. It is we conservative, law abiding, hard working people that will be needed, at least in the short term. Once our usefulness has been exhausted then it's us into the cattle cars.

You know the future is fucked up when most prospective jobs are being Zumba or Pilates instructor , fitness coach , Instagram or TikTok influencer,dog walker you know stuff that requires no education. Of course, some skills will be valuable of the charts , but those are not skills many will have.

4th industrial revolution that is ongoing right now , COVID just accelerated the pace,is going to , severely cut into many job sectors that can be automatized or moved from the storefront to the web. And the cull will be as severe in the white-collar world as in blue-collar.

This indicates that as some point socialism is going to become a much more permanent and pervasive than its now. to ensure the consumers consume as that will be the only value of many folks.

FED fueled Stock market economy you have witnessed past couple of months are just a small glimpse of this. Folks investing government checks in to stock market scams expecting huge returns for no added value generated in the process. Instead of folks opening businesses investing money and labor and generating jobs,value & profits out that. ?Share holder economy is the most rigged element in capitalism ,designed to channel the $$ to a tiny elite(5% own half of the stock), while money is not being re-invested into companies ,products and jobs

I think all of this is spot on. Covid has only accelerated the business cycle, making small businesses become obsolete, while large tech is larger than ever.

Also, white collar jobs in the $100-$300k range are the next out the door. I am already seeing it happen this year in my client base.

The technological revolution has been moving so rapidly, and when AI reaches it's critical point, it's time for the hunger games. Most jobs will be replaced by AI. Universal basic income seems like the only solution. You are either in the have or have not camp, and that will be determined at birth.

The "Hunger Games" analogy is interesting, and could be not too far from the truth. But it will be less about the 2nd Amendment, and more about the planet ... IMHO.

Darwin was right ... the strong will survive. This planet is strong, and it's seen many species come and go over the last 4.5 billion years. I expect the earth will eventually exercise it's muscle and invoke it's will. The questions are (a) when ... seems to have started already, and (b) how long will humans hang on? I worry way more about how we're damaging this planet and how it will fight back ... than I do about anybody knocking on my door to take my guns (which would not go well for them).

That's the view from my home in Oregon ... which is seeing years of record high temperatures, multi-year drought, and the worst fire season "ever".

I can't go outside, and I can't see across the street. The air is toxic. Bend Oregon is a beautiful resort town, and right now it's almost uninhabitable.

Unfortunately yes, that is where we are headed, new age feudalism, minimal upward mobility, have nots, and have gots determined at birth and UBI just to keep economy going as 1% or 5% or 10% are not the consumers that keep economy going , most of the population will be utterly useless in terms of skills aside from their value as a consumer and traded goods , flipside of this coin s that all non-specialist skills will be further devalued. (all of the tech giants already trade you as their main product) This will all go hand in hand with an ever-expanding police state that will be needed to keep monied class safe from the pitchforks.
