How does one get an invite to compete there?
When they announce that they are having a match you have to put in just like any other match.
If you know someone that's shot up there with them prior you might want to go in with them.
It's not always first come first serve in this case.

Site is a bit dated (its still reading 2012) but the info is all good.
They typically run a Spring and a Fall match and announce the signup maybe 1 month in advance via an email to their distro list.
