ASC match?

They haven’t ran them in years now and with Rod passing, my guess is there won’t be anymore matches anytime soon.

Oh, man, that is too bad to hear. He was a great guy - rock climber, shooter and big supporter of the shooting sports. ASC went on a long time and I look back fondly on my time spent there on "the Mountain"... so many great folks I met there. Lots of active duty guys from the Special Forces community that would come out from Quantico, Bragg, Little Creek, between GWOT deployments.

Any updates from any of the other match directors, Brock, Matt, Brock's dad (can't remember his name)???? The dog Maggie???

Very Sad. Rod, was super nice to my son and I. We had the opportunity to make 3 matches.

I hope his family is well. Very sorry for their loss.
 
That match was always a great time. Check out the Major Land Sniper's Cup match. A similar style match with less movement and extended distance.

ASC was a fun match. Shot it from 2003-2007. Different weather could make it challenging at times. Definitely some challenging stages and shooting positions as well as ranging the targets with the reticle.
