Assange Arrested

How long before the Arkancide?

And, at this point, for what? Sweden dropped charges. U.S. can attempt to charge him with leaking... but he doesn't leak or steal. He merely publishes things sent to him? So what can he get charged with? Conspiracy? Refusing grand jury testimony? Bull$hit! By that standard, Woodward and Bernstein should have been executed for treason.

Deep State and Hillary want him bad for leaking during 2012 election and embarrasing Obama... and for later being involve with the stuff Seth Rich leaked (though that may have been Anonymous.)

At this point... let's put him in front of a Grand Jury and ask about Hillary's e-mail!

Hero.... no, he is an asshole. But you can't put someone in jail for being an asshole.

Hi,

Well "Publicly" he cannot be extradited to or by the USA due to the agreement Ecuador made with UK since USA has the death penalty..so any questioning will be off book and could not be used as evidence.

They (USA) would have to "reroute" any information he would provide to another source or Ecuador could file all sorts of paperwork in regards to UK violating the asylum revocation agreement.

Sincerely,
Theis

It does however to a certain extent prove that what he said all along was true that the charges from Sweden were primarily an excuse to get him somewhere that the USA could grab him.

The English are not even being subtle about it, they are just like...... yep we are grabbing him on behalf of the Americans who don't like their dirty laundry displayed for the world to see.

Remember the good ol days when America would give a shit what Ecuador thought?

If the US waived the death penalty in this case...would that not be in compliance?

They are on a roll to make sure that if you tell folks what your government and politicians are really up to, you'll pay the price.

(And the excuse about harming the USA or our troops is such BS when Hillary walks around free as do all her cohorts and the rest of the treasonous traitors to the country that infest the halls of power. Now if they were all in jail, then we would have something to talk about).

Hit nail on head.

Uh, am I missing something? He's in England, after just being released from the Ecuadorian Embassy. Isn't he? Didn't the article say that he was arrested by British police? In London.

So is it being said that England doesn't have an Extradition thingy with the US?

If they have evidence he was actually involved with Manning in the acquisition of classified material, not simply the recipient and publisher after the fact, then he should face trail.

Completely agree about Hillary though, she should be behind bars 100%.

Let’s just say, the US carries a lot more weight than Ecuador. And considering we are rebuilding ties with them...well you get it.

What if Obama was clued that Assange had the goods to take him and the Dems down? Then in response he offered Assange a deal to commute Manning's sentence and pay for his dick removal surgery. Only if Assange did not leak the info. Sounds like a conspiracy theory. To me there is a lot here that we have no clue about. But his arrest the day after Barr drops the spy bomb is quirky coincidence.

Tucker hits the nail on he head....

No, not our Tucker!

A little story of this is in order

Once upon a time a man named Tucker(number omitted due to him holding ban hammer) invited 1J and Bogey over for a party. Bogey immediately said we need a fire while we sit by the lake. While cutting fire wood with a chainsaw, Bogey cut off Tuckers thumb. 1J having been Govt trained immediately jumped to action. He said "Bogey grab the thumb I'll get Tucker( )" and they headed to the hospital.

Arriving at the hospital the doctor informed them the thumb they brought is dead because Bogey forgot to put it on ice. Then then doctor added "but this is your lucky day", as he explained Chelsea Manning was having surgery that day. This would make her penis available for transplant. So they all decided this was best for Tucker( ). 1J and Bogey were true hero's. Though Bogey did lose points for the ice failure.

They all lived happily ever after.

But I have a question for Tucker( ). When you are out having dinner with the wife and a hot babe walks by. How do you explain the sudden increase in thumb size? :)

He can be extradited here, all the Prosecutor has to do is take the death penalty off the table. It's done all the time, especially with Mexico.

Yes it would... I'm conflicted about this case. While I love that Wiki leaked all things that blasted Hillary, the dissemination of classified information is way out of hand and is doing great harm to this country. Something has to be done to set an example. I was telling someone the other day, the IRS ought to give each member of Congress asking for Trump's returns a false set, or a false unredacted Mueller report, then when one of them gets leaked, they'll know who leaked it and put that politician in jail for life.

Hi,

@Sled
Can you please post the link to the agreement that the UK signed with Ecuador and the UN?
I have been looking for it since yesterday but could not find it.
Only the details (Not what has been released to media) will be able to answer how any extradition to the USA could happen, IF it could happen at all.

Sincerely,
Theis

I don't have that particular agreement. All I'm saying is that the death penalty does not preclude extradition if the US waives it. It happened a lot with Columbian drug lords.... the US just promises in the agreement they will not seek it and that's all it takes.

Hi,

Nobody is saying it is not done but until the actual agreement is made public nobody really knows "how" it can be done.
The issue is not whether UK can extradite to the USA...of course they can.
The issue is not whether removing death penalty has worked previously...of course it has.
The issue is that nobody knows what UK signed with Ecuador and the UN for this exact situation...not what UK signed with USA in 2003.

We are talking about Gubermint officials and lawyers here, lol....it is not like they cannot and do not exclude or include caveats at their convenience no matter what the common practice is of anything.

When he lands publicly in the USA we will know and IF he disappears we will also know :).

Sincerely,
Theis

What makes you think they signed anything? Ecuador might have finally, after years, gotten tired of Assange stinking up their Embassy....

What if the deal is between the US and Ecuador? The UK would do anything to not piss off Trump after the Five-Eye thing. The UN, eff them.

And many others should be prosecuted along with him, including Hitlery, in this case. Yet, there is nothing so far but there may be something in the works.

Hell the IRS should be prosecuted for overstepping it’s powers years ago as well. Funny thing, the mastermind of that fiasco barely got a slap on the wrist and got to retire early with a full pension.

A couple of things.
#1: Assange doesn't go after the worst hell hole dictatorship governments. He exclusively attacks liberal, western democracies, and he doesn't do it to bring shady shit to light, he does it because he wants to hurt them. If this weren't the case he wouldn't exclusively focus on them.

#2: While publishing the Podesta emails earned him the ire of Democrats, he is not being charged with any of that. He does, however, know where those really came from, and if it is true that they came from a whistleblower and not the Russians I'll bet there are some evil, motherfucking bastards in the Clinton Crime Family who are sweating bullets right about now. If it WAS Seth Rich, then I had better see a big fucking taskforce at Justice and the FBI convened immediately, or we can't wait till they try and take our guns.

#3: Commuting Bradly Manning's sentence was a slap in the face to America. FUCK OBAMA!!! I want the whole story put in the public sphere, and I want it as damaging to that communist mother fucker as is absolutely possible. That is exactly where it's going to go when Assange gets prosecuted. I'll bet there is a legion in the deep state who is dreading a public trial.

Hopefully...Great Britain will deny extradition of Assange to the U.S., because persecuting him would set a dangerous precedent for journalists or their sources that the U.S. may wish to pursue in the future.

Try this on for size....

What if there really isn't a Julian Assange and never has been. What if Assange and wikileaks are pure CIA fabrications. All we get are glimpses of this alleged person and now just rumors of his whereabouts. I suppose a nation that will believe in the Bin Ladin raid shouldn't be too hard to fool yet again...

He was hacking shit back in the 80's and 90's, predicted Desert Storm months before it happened --because he hacked milnet and found pallets of Coca Cola and other western goods being moved there in bulk. It all added up to one thing. He couldn't get anyone to listen and plus this was in Australia, where he's from, so nobody really cared. There's a movie about it.

If you see the documentaries that he's in, you can tell he's full of himself and doesn't give a shit about anyone else. It just oozes from him. So the accusations they made about him being a shitty roomie made absolute sense to me.

What doesn't make sense is him being extradited to the US for exposing US dirty laundry and breaking US laws. He's not a citizen. It'd be like me getting extradited to (pick a place) for exposing their corruption and breaking their laws. It just doesn't happen. But in this new totalitarian world where the Clitons run shit for life, anything goes. Goddamn those two can't die fast enough.

Why doesn't it make since? None of the Columbian or Mexican drug lords are American citizens, but they sent drugs to our country and were extradited. (Chapo is on his way to Supermax.(or is already there) Assange disseminated classified American information over the web, which means he broke our laws. Of course he can be extradited. You guys are overthinking this.....

Everyone talks about dead mans switches and the Assange arrest. Real, phony, good, bad? Do you really think they are so stupid as to let Assange hold some book that could be a pre assigned code to his cohorts. All while carrying him out looking like Merlin. Maybe it was pre assigned to say everything cool, I got this.

This is no normal arrest. I guess we will have to wait and see the end of the movie.
