Athlon Argo BTR Gen.2 ?

Does anyone have any experience with this scope ? It meets all of the criteria but one for a 600 yd. steel plinker I'm setting up for my daughter.
Criteria;
30+ max power, shooting from a bench at steel out to 600 yds using a 6 CM LH bolt gun., Max is $500.00
This scope is 8x34x56, FFP with a 30 MM tube. and I think the reticle lends it's self to teaching how to use a mil dot scope

Get the 6-24, it's much better than the 8-34.

Yes. Direct comparisons.
Mine vs one that used to belong to a buddy. Side by side view. 6-24 was much better.
The 8-32 is still not bad for the price.
Both track pretty good.

guess there is still some "stool shooting" in me . I'd be looking at their 40X but not a fan of the reticle that's in that one.
