Rifle Scopes Athlon Cronus BTR 4.5x29x56 from Camera land

I do not normally write comments but feel compelled in this case for two reasons. First, regarding the Athlon Cronus BTR. Sure its been stated before the quality and performance is outstanding for this price point and even against some scopes the next tier up. This is in no way a murder board from my days in SOCOM but what you get for the money makes your SA a bit sharper. After taking the time to talk with the guys at Athlon over the phone and dig a little deeper in how they are offering this scope for the price point they are I decided to pick one up for myself and compare. As we all know scopes are a personal choice and based directly on the user's experience and knowledge. Having said that you owe it to yourself to get behind a Cronus BTR and compare it to "your" current or future tool of the trade.

Secondly, working with Doug the owner of Camera land in old Bethpage, NY a few months back was a great experience. So much in fact, I just got off the phone with him moments ago and ordered a second Cronus BTR. Like all of you I have the freedom of a capitalistic market place and can make a purchase with any vendor I choose. So if you have not done so you own it to yourself to contact Doug when shopping your next scope. Doug is not only awesome to work with over the phone but $upports us Hide members / Veterans in a very meaningful way.

They are where I go to first. Im sure people are getting tired of me praising them by now.

Just got a midas btr in today from them. They already had it on clearance but I called to see if there was anything else they could do in regard to price. Doug said no since it was already so low including shipping but after I ordered he called me up to say he was including a little redfield pocket knife. Its not much in the grand scheme of things, just a token symbol, but they really do want to give you the most for your dollar out of anyone that Ive found.

And I really liked my cronus btr deal from them back when the original cronus was getting cleared out at cabelas. Needless to say cameraland beat the ever living shit out of EVERYONE else! Not only matching but exceeding.

Im so glad an old hunting buddy recommended them to me back before I was even on the hide.

Doug is gonna get my business on an ares etr or two here soon, almost solely because of the reticle compared to the cronus btr

athlon seems to be doing what vortex did a year or two ago

Christmas bonus time is coming up in a few months, I have another new scope on my list already. I may buy a Cronus to upgrade my Ares that I bought last Christmas and move the Ares to my 6.5 Grendel AR.
Doug & Neil will get a call then the time gets closer.

For being fairly new optic company it appears Athlon is listening to customer feedback and really improving their scopes. I'm excited to see how they keep progressing and looking forward to purchasing my first Athlon optic in the near future. Threads like this are encouraging that I'm making the right choice.
