Athlon Cronus BTR Gen II 4.5-29x56mm or Bushnell Elite Tactical XRS3 6-36X56mm?

I'm trying to decide between these two for my RPR in 6mm CM. I will use this for long range shooting and the occasional long range coyote in AZ. I like both reticles, as they are similar (APRS6 and G4P) but have seen neither in person. They are also similar in price, so I can go either way.

So, for those that have either or both of these, can you provide some input? Is one clearly better? Everything I have researched, it seems lots of positives for both.

Is it as simple as "pick one and be happy- you're overthinking it, dumbass"?

The Cronus has always punched above its weight class, and price point.

But, that's not taking anything from the Bushnell.


I'd say shop around for deals, find whichever is on sale, and go that route. Aside from the magnification difference, there probably isn't 1% difference elsewhere between the two.
