I have an 8x34 on a 10/22 . Its a good scope for the money.
Glass is good in the light of the day but suffers in dusk ,as expected .
On low power settings it pretty clear and crisp and easy to get behind.
On high power Its not super easy to get behind and has tunneling .
Turrets are soft. Tracking and return to zero are spot on for me.
Its a good serviceable scope for the money . I like the locking turrets.
My experience is that it falls in line with other low priced optics.
I know this doesn't help with 6x24 but it is what i know of the 8x34.
For $300, the best fixed power scope is the SWFA 10x42mm rear focus. Built like a tank, quality glass, and tremendous track record. Available in MRAD or MOA.
