Athlon Midas BTR GEN2 4.5-27x50 APRS4 MIL.
New release for 2019.States improved glass bunt not HD. Few other updates.Any thoughts for budget set up?

How does this compare the the Midas Tac?

The Midas lineup seems to be all over the place.

The BTR Gen II is a 2nd FP scope and the TAC is a 1st FP
Which do you prefer?

Which is better for long range shooting? Have seen different opinions about it or just shooters choice?

I like my gen 1 for the price. Use it on my 10/22 with good results. Good turrets, reticle, and glass. Not going to compete with the $700-$1k optics, but it’s a fraction of the price.

You probably want FFP for long range shooting.
