Glad ya like it man. I had no doubt you'd find it to be the perfect replacement for that GG&G bipod. That's not to say the GG&G isn't a decent bipod but the Atlas is in a class of its own!

Does the standard Atlas mount directly to the quad rail? No quick detach method on the standard, correct?

Yes it does, that is the BT10 option called the Clamp On.
