Just got my DBM from atlasworx. Is the installation something most people can do or do I need to take it to a gunsmith? If someone has done this could they tell what I need to do?

we have no idea if YOU can do it... but my first thought is always "if you have to ask, take it to a smith"

Smith needs to do it. And give him the whole rifle with a couple dummy rounds so he can ensure flawless feeding. I've seen Atlas's need adjusting.
We do a lot of DBM work and half of them we're repairing the customers Dremel attempt.
I <span style="font-weight: bold">highly</span> suggest a Badger, Seekins, or Surgeon over any other brand. I have not tried them all yet though.
