Hey y'all.
I just got a Harris Ultralight Bipod - Series "S", Model "BRM" for my Savage 10FP .308. The bipod will not attach to the swivel nut. The nut seems too short? Could this be? Does anyone know if there is an adapter that I might need or is there a super secret trick to attaching this contraption?

thanks

Be sure the tension screw is turned out as far as it will go without coming all the way out. Pinch the claw and see if it will attach.

+1 to what Randy said.

Turn the approximately dime-sized knob on the bottom of the bipods counter-clockwise until you encounter resistance. Then squeeze the bottom of the prongs on the opposite end from where they clamp into the swivel. That should open the clamping end far enough to get the nubs into the swivel. Then tighten the dime-sized knob back down.
