Re: Attention all commi squirrels and pop cans....

It's their Target Tactical version that came out last year. .920 bull barrel and came with the bipod and a Hogue Overmolded stock.

The barrel it comes with is "ok" but not quite up to some of the good aftermarket barrels.

If you "stole" it, you did fine... if you paid their $599 price tag you could have done better building it up yourself.

I had a couple gift cards that needed using. Ended up being 200 bucks out of pocket. About 350 before the cards and what not.

You did fine at $350.

Base 10/22 - $180
Hogue Stock - $65
Bipod - $25
Barrel - $100 (on the very low end)

You're already in the positive with what you got.

Ruger put these things out at $555 and real costs I have been seeing have been $440-$480. Just shoot the crap out of the dang thing.

Hammer forged barrel is fairly good, really good when rechambered to a bentz or other improved chamber. Plastic trigger housing sucks. However, commie squirrels will be in trouble.

Oh, BTW... should you start to like it... find a Boyd's tacticool stock. I can pretty much guarantee you'll like it over the Hogue.

Here is mine in a Boyd's stock, the paint was my first try at a camo job with Kyrlon.

Re: Attention all commi squirrels and pop cans....

I shot some rem bulk ammo through it yesterday and it wa holding around 2inches at 100 yards which probably isn't bad for 5 year old bulk 22 ammo.

Gonna try some better stuff next week.
