I trying to put together a group buy through CDI for a detachable box magazine bottom metal. CDI makes bottom metal for Savages, Winchester, and Howa. The bottom metal accepts AICS mags. He needs 15 pre-orders so he wont loose money making the set up perfect. CDI bottom metal for other manufactures is about $200. PM me or reply to this thread if interested. Sako 75 III action to be more precise. Yet another good reason to sign up for this buy: The AICS mag will allow for a longer OAL in the mag.

Here is what I was told, "Un modded 308 mags oal is about 2.830 or so. Take out the reinforcement strip and go to 2.950".
