Attention Veterans: THANK YOU

Thanks to all who have posted here.
I did my time and played in the war games in Sunny Southeast Asia.
It was not Voluntary, I was drafted, but I did do my part.
During my time there were no lottery numbers and lots of fraud as to deferments and who is going and who is not. Fuck all of you"students" who got to stay at home.
If you had the money or connections you didn't have to play the game but if you were in the lower classes, you went.
I must have been very low class as I was drafted shortly after I turned 18. I feel I am a better person for the most part, but what I did in RVN still haunts me to this day. FM

They shall not grow old ,as we that are left grow old .
Age shall not weary them , nor the years condemn .
At the going down of the sun , and in the morning ,
we will remember them .
Lest we forget .
