EDIT: 04/25/2021: I now have a way to use this system, minus the zip ties. Will update with photo when I get it all setup.

Okay so I managed to find a way to mount a normal $50 powder measure to the top of this thing, and get the wind shield all secured down so you can throw the lever on the powder measure. I don't like the zip ties but it works and does not interfere with the scale or require modifications to it.

This custom 3D printed spout I modeled threads to normal 7/8 x 14 UNF threaded dies (Unlike the one that comes with the V3). It contains a baffle on the inside, just like the one on the V3 for reducing the speed at which granules come out of the powder measure to reduce them splashing out of the cup. I am waiting until Tuesday for my Lyman powder measure to come in the mail and test the spout, but if it works good and you guys want some I will be looking into the idea of shipping a few out to you y'all.

Just need to buy these two things as well from Adam MacDonald ($20):

This is great for someone who is still hurting from buying the scale itself and can't shell out an additional $490 just yet for the V3.

The fact is that with the danDY you are still waaay ahead of the game compared to most ways from the past.

Yeah that is true, I would have totally been fine with a normal powder trickler too but I couldn't find any that was tall enough and long enough. I'm sure now that I mention this though someone will refer me to one lol. *I am assuming you meant dandy and not dang...*

I guess my only concern would be vibrating that scale and affecting accuracy of the throw. But if it works for you then more power to ya................

This scale most definitely does pick up vibrations such as closing doors nearby, moving things around on the bench, subwoofers, and using the press.

But the amplitude of the (technically sound waves) from the trickler has negligible effect on the scale after they make it through the rather heavy base, the bench, and up into the scale.

Even with no powder in it, and on its highest setting I have not found it to be detectable by the scale. Plus, you can always let it stabilize while not using it.

I sit my dandy on a piece of stiff foam to help mitigate the vibration.
