Hi everyone, my 10 year old son got a 3d printer recently and we have been busy learning how to make cool stuff. He has an entrepreneurial spirit and wants to offer up some of the designs we came up with. My son is printing, and shipping. All of the money goes to him, I am simply the middle man.

One of the problems I have found with the V4 is the angle at which it sits on top of the scale. It works fine with smaller powders, however when you get to long extruded powders, it has a hard time trickling taking a long time to finish a powder charge. We made washers that fit over the rear bumper raising the rear of the unit. The washers comes in sets of 5 and raises the unit in .5mm increments. My average charge time went from 12-14 seconds with H4350, to 7-9 seconds. This is conjunction with a nipple offered by someone else on the end of the small tube. Attached are videos dropping H-4350 and N570. The price is 10$ for a set of 5 washers, and 5$ shipping. Available in black but if you would like another color, shoot me a message and we will see what we can do!

Hey, how strong is that stuff you print with? I was going to make it out of wood, but if your son would print it, I'd gladly pay for it. I can pm you with details?

Glad you're offering this. Something that should have been included on the V4 from the start, not something that needs "mods" to fix (not a knock on your product).

Bump,
So far we have had only one request for a different color. Would you guys like to see them in a more vibrant color like red or orange?

Any interest in building a funnel that attaches to the square opening on top up the V4 so I can use my dandy trickler when I throw a kernel short?

What would be super baller would be the ability to hit a “short tube button” that would drop a single kernel just like the Dandy.

Got my set in last week, as said earlier this coupled with the little conical funnel for the small tube is the shit!

Saves you time and inevitable frustration from playing grab-ass with little metal shims on the back pad of the V4 every time you change powders.
The color coded spacers are also a cool plus.
Get you some!

Ill be heading to the NRL HUNTER match in Washington this weekend and can bring them with to save on shipping.

@Drhorsepower
Received the spacers today and tried them out. Made a huge improvement with the V4 and n570. Before the spacers, with various calibrations and custom speed adjustments, the v4 would over throw by .1-.2 gr 50% of the time. Now, it’s only going beyond .1 gr 20% of the time, with only using normal calibration procedures which is a huge improvement, especially when a kernel weighs .04-.08gr each.
Thank you!
