I NOTE THE MFRS PRIMARILY STATE THEY UPGRADE TO INTEGRAL SILENCED BARRELS FOR THE MARK II OR MARK III... IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH THE MARK I ?

Aside from minor and unrelated design variations, I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't be ABLE to mod a Mark I. The earlier models lacked a last round bolt hold function, but I wouldn't think that would affect anything.
