I already have an AW 338 rifle and absolutely love it ! I've only taken it to 1000m though but it shoots amazingly with both 250 and 300 grain projectiles.
Now this sick mind of mine is debating whether to get an AX rifle. Just have this sniggering feeling that I can get even better accuracy out of the 338 with the bigger mags and 1.9 twist.
I don't like the look of the AX though, seems a like a bunch of parts slapped together. Also for some reason doesn't feel like something you can take along in the bush due to all those rails e.t.c
Am I able to just get my AI rebarrelled ( when the current barrel dies) with a 1.9 twist ( but using the AW shorter chamber size) and get better accuracy out of the 300g projectiles or should I sell my AW and buy AX ?
Or am I just better of keeping my AW, canning the AX idea and getting a DTA SRS ( which I can afford without selling my AW)
