AXSR M30 custom barrels???????

Who is the go to for custom large tenon barrels for the AI AXMC or AXSR? I know mile high sells prefits, but that's not what I'm looking for. My local smiths don't like chambering large tenon barrels and are never really willing.

More specifically, I'd love to do a carbon barrel in 25 Creedmoor. I contacted Proof Research about it, but never got a response.

Any help would be appreciated.

Southern Precision Rifles stocks the 1.35 blanks, not sure about Carbon though. Greg spun up many barrels for my AXSR.

Nobody has m30 tenon blanks. Probably gonna need to be a special order.

Wow, that’s the first I have heard any negative comment on SPR.. I won’t point out smiths here but one said smith had my blanks for a year, finally I had enough of waiting!!! That’s 2 years of waiting for a prefit. 1 year w the manufacturer and 1 waiting on a smith… I had “the smith” send my 2 blanks back on my dime.. $150 wasted on shipping back and forth plus the 1 year of waiting patiently. That smith has lost my business for life now.

Greg @ SPR aka Bugholes is one of the few smiths that actually holds true to his word. He tells you 4 weeks,,, it’s 4 weeks. No bullshit!

I would never let someone I know send something to him. I know many people have had no problems but how he handled the burr they left in my chamber was embarrassing and horrible. He was a huge jackass even after he personally tested the barrel and confirmed he fucked up my chamber job.
