AXSR VS AXMC Outline

I'm aware of the differences between the AXSR and AXMC, but am wondering if a cutout for the AXMC will fit an AXSR. My gut tells me probably, but does anyone have first hand experience?

In regard to a foam case, will a case made for the AXMC fit the AXSR? If so, perfect fit or?..

This shows the outline of an MC and SR superimposed. I traced out both and cut to the widest margin so that either will fit. If you look closely you can figure out which outline is MC and which is SR. I placed the nearest handy heavy flat object (a Gibson Les Paul) on the foam to hold it in place on the table while I let the portion I was cutting overhang the edge of the table. The portions of the outlines covered by the guitar case in this pic were the same (as I recall).
