Ran into a B&L spotting scope that is said to be military, (I have no idea) has a 20x eye piece and a 60x...come in green crate and tripod that looks military...I cant find ANYHING out about it...Did B&L indeed make military spotting scopes and what would be a decent price to offer if so.. (Looks a bit older) with screw on lens caps..just like the m49

Ive been searching all morning with no luck..

Thanks

M144 spotting telescope, an M24 Sniper Weapon System component end item.

It was an "Economy-priced" (cheap) scope the Army bought to replace M49s.

Sinister,

I have two of them and so-far-so-good with what range time, hunting, and range officer duties I've put them through. Not as bright as a fixed power "better" scope, but when the mirage is boiling... All in all for price, size/packability, durability I'm happy. I've wondered how well they held up and worked for y'all at the school with heavy use?

Spooky
