Stumbled on this over coffee... on Nat Geo, I think.

Take out the words "Nazi" and "Fascist" and fill in "Black Lives Matter" or any of the other groups... and look at the step-by-step methodologies of how propaganda and symbolism, etc. were used in the last century to bring National Socialism to power. Everything from designing uniforms and symbols to creating martyrs... simple messages repeated again and again. Replace police with brownshirts. Give folks uniforms and appeal to 'male vanity' and a need to be part of a uniformed group (without ever earning one.) Create riots and unrest... and cries for government control. Use race and create supposed enemies. Control the media and the messages. Destroy and change history in order to support your new narrative. You don't have to reach everyone. You just need easy-to-follow instructions for the easily led. The rest you will deal with using boxcars and Dachau.

It is 100 percent the playbook. It's how it's done. None of what we are seeing today is new. We are seeing a real and genuine attempt by a tiny minority of zealots to create a new Socialist authoritarian state.

Back then, by the way, the National Socialists were funded by industrialists and business elites (where have we heard that) with the plan of getting an easily-controlled Hitler into power so that they could run the government behind the scenes. But, of course, once in power, Hitler wasn't going to be 'pushed around' by Industrialists.

This is an excellent watch. Just play a game of word substitution and ask yourself whether any of what you see today is a coincidence... or 'just happening.'

Those who fail to learn history may be condemned to repeat it. Those who are trying to destroy history are planning to repeat it.
