I was at Gander Mountain the other day the the salesman showed me a BACO (sp?) Arms rifle and told me it would shoot straighter than any Sako or Tikka I was considering.

I was skeptical and ended up having to run back to work without much inspection. Has anyone heard of these? I can't seem to find any info on them from searching (other than Buffalo Arms and Bacon Arms).

Just curious more than anything, I think the price was at $925-$950, but Gander out here is generally a little high in price compared to other sporting retailers.

Re: BACO Arms?

"BACO" stands for Browning Arms Company. Look at any newer Browning or Winchester (Winchester Repeating Arms is owned buy Browning) firearm, particularly the role mark on the barrel. You will see "Made by" or "Imported BY BACO, Morgan, Utah, USA"
