Read the book - "We Were Soldier Once - And Young" by Hal Moore. He was the field comander at the battle of the Ia Drang Valley in the Central Highlands of S. Viet Nam in Nov'65. The movie of the same name quite frankly sucks in comparison to the book. Lot's of bad-asses at that battle, not just Bruce - who along with Ed Freeman won Congressional Medals of Honor for their actions. Awesome guys for friggin sure.
