Rifle Scopes Badger 6-4 screw Ring sets

Awesome good Link .. have had 6-4 Seekins, alloy, and the only pair of Badgers I had were steel 4-screw and pair max-50 I got on a trade . imho... Those 6-screw Badgers are little on the heavy side .
just trying to set up a pair of 'Alloy' 6-4's with simrad cap . pretty sure the SIMRAD cap is going to be steel, but trying to save a little weight if I can .
......thanks
.

Badger is my go-to. Just got a couple recon unimounts and a set of SASR rings for a .50 So they make the rings in both steel and alloy, 4-4, 4-6 and 6-6. You may have to search or call, for some reason not all their items will come up when you look under one section or another --you have to play around with it. A call will fix it quick though. They told me when I called that the alloy caps are absolutely fine for use on the steel rings, even the SN'd rings. They said military does it all the time and I actually have one of their alloy Marine rail scope caps here about to be sent back (not needed) which came in the military box from Brownells.

I THINK the unimounts are all alloy. I can't see how you'd need a 4-6 steel unimount anyway and it would be oh-so-heavy. Their 4-6 SASR rings are awesome for the .50BMG though, better IMO than their 6-6 .50 rings and they'll work with clip ons. They're steel, but they'll also accept any of the alloy accessory caps too, some of which already have NSN's but don't show it on their site, like this rail mount.

All BO.. ( 6 - 4 ) Ring sets are going to be Mil.issue spec. for sales, and they are all ' steel '. and they weigh a Lb.. They don't make the 6-4 in weight saving Alloy .
was kind of wanting to put the 3 lb. simrad hanging out there on a 6-screw 'front' Ring/cap instead of a 4-screw .

got some great advice . BO, 4-Screw ( Alloy ) Rings are going to be OK . even though the 6-screw are pretty bullet proof .
( Killswitch Engauge ) got with me and explained that the 4-Screw Rings are actually pretty solid . mechanics of the simrad cap and how you remove/take the ring cap and flip it to the scope body, bottom rear of the simrad cap, to make an 8-screw attachment for front Ring and hold the 4-lb's cantilevered out there .
