Badger action in an AX chassis

Is there any issues with fitting the Badger action in an AX chassis?

I am sure someone has done it someplace here.

I tried to get it done, but the smiths said that it could be done but it would butcher the hand guard and would look like shit. I like the way the ax rifle looks but I don't know about the badger and the ax. I just stuck my m2008 in an Aics
