Anyone know a good place to order mags? The badger / AICS 308 5rd & 10rd type...

also, I see there are some aftermarket companies out thre making mags for AICS. I assume these will work in the Badger system as well?

also, I try to keep using the search tool (over to the left) as not to flood the forum with questions that have been asked, but Im not sure if I am doing the search right as I never seem to find what I want... any help there would be great as well!

Thanks guys

Re: Badger / AICS Mags

Ok, nevermind I found the site...

Is 308 Type 2 a 5rd and 308 Type 1 a 10rd. ?

ALSO.... what does this mean????

<span style="font-style: italic"><span style="font-weight: bold">"You will also be able to use these in a REM 700 style, but only if you have modified the feed ramp to accept the longer rounds. This modification can be done very quickly by most competent gunsmith."</span></span>

I have a Rem700 action and will have the Badger BDM...

Re: Badger / AICS Mags

They are both 10 rounders, the type 1 is for ammunition straight out the box such as Federal, Blackhills, and Hornady. The type 2 is for reloaders that use longer over all lengths then factory made bullets. The part you quoted pertains to the type 2 where the action of the rifle needs to be modified.
I have some of these mags, great 10 rounders that aren't a mile long.

Re: Badger / AICS Mags

ahhhhh I see... Ok, so I will stick with Type 1 as I do reload, but I do not use longer O.A.L. 2.80 or 2.85 I think off the top of my head is what I last set my die to. Its been a while...

Does Alpha have any 5rd mags? didnt see any, I'd better go look
