Gunsmithing Badger M4 to a M5

Can you change the bottom metal from a Badger M4 to a Badger M5 ? Do they both have the same dimensions? I have a McMillian A5 that I would like to make this change to

They do not have the same dimensions. You can look on badgers website and look at the inlet prints and compair the difference.

There is such a small difference you can do it with a dremel and sand paper
