GAP rifle has a McMillan A5 stock with an M4 triggerguard. Can I swap it for the Badger M5 or do you have to inlet the stock for the M5 specifically?

It has to be inletted for the M5, but its not hard for any smith to do in a mill.
Or Mcmillan will do it for around $50
