I just picked up a badger rail for my 700 5R 300wm. What Are you guys torquing these too. I have the standard screws. The package says 15in-lbs. I think that's a bit light. I was thinking more like 25in-lbs.

Badger specifies 15-18in/lbs for their standard scope base screws unless something has changed. I applied a small drop of loctite to each screw and torqued down to 18in/lbs on all of mine and have never had a single hiccup.

The only torque wrenches I have is the Warne 25in-lbs and the seeknok 65in-lbs.

I recently put a Nightforce rail on a buddies 700 and torqued it to 25. Do you think I will have a problem going to 25 with the badger?

Well I just mounted it. I used my Warne 25in-lbs torque wrench and a dab of Blue Loctite on each screw. So far so good. Nothing Broke. I torqued each screw a few times while keeping pressure on the rail and holding it forward to engage the recoil lug. It wouldn't surprise me if that Warne torque wrench is a few in-lbs light. It was only a $25 wrench.

As far as the Badger Ordance rail goes. It looks like its very well made I can see why it cost so much. The only thing I seen wrong
was a tiny burr on it. So I took some 2000 grit sand paper and 2 swipes later the burr was gone. There isn't any play at all in the rail. I put the front screw in and checked the rear for a gap and vice versa. There wasn't any day light showing through and no wiggle at all. So needless to say I don't need to bed it.
