Badger Ordnance handguard?

Hi, I think this might be the first post I'm starting.

Couldn't find any data in a search, so...

I was interesting in using the Badger Ordnance handguard on my DPMS LR 308. I use it in some long range competitions, and I liked the idea that the Badger handguard has a flat bottom that would provide me with a little more stability in certain conditions, and I like that I can continue to add some items forward on the rail in the future.

It has been discontinued by Badger Ordnance. Is it a good platform for what I am looking to do, thus, I should seek someone that has it in stock? Or is there another handguard that I haven't considered that might accomplish the same task as the Badger would with the flat bottom?

it is heavy but has served well for prairie dogs and LRT as it rides the bags well due to flat-bottom

was not aware it was disconinued

I did send an email to Badger Ordnance, and they did reply...

"We may start it up mid next year again."

I assume they just made a production run, and they haven't ran more off.
