Rifle Scopes Badger rings

I purchased a set of badger rings and 1 piece base a few months back and was told by Badger not to lap them. So I did my normal mounting procedure minus the lapping. So far no noted problems. I am going to buy another set for another stick and before I mount them I want some opinions from you guys on the matter.?????

By the way I did a search and didn't find any good posts about lapping Badgers.

Don't lap them. I haven't had any problems on my sets of Badgers.

i dont lap my badgers either. have read here that some do. i dunno, if u got the bars checkem, and w them mounted on the base if they need lapping id call badger
