Bag riders

I just shoot prone at long range steel. Does anyone use a bad rider with a squeeze bag?

I thought bad riders were mainly intended for use with hard benchrest rear rests.

Tikka TAC A1 chassis, not a bench stock. The bottom bar is a stepped design. I ordered a bag rider from MTN Tactical for it, but I am having second thoughts about the application.

If recoil grabs the stock at the toe then you might benefit from a rider.
I would have to google your stock for a picture.
You want recoil between the heel and your shoulder or it will jump.
I think Lowlight has a video on stock/shoulder position.
