So I shot in my first match and humbly got my ass kicked. I learned a lot and started dry firing what l learned tons and tons. I have been looking at two bags, the game changer, and some type of bigger square bag. I just really do not know what to settle on. What I am hopping for is to answer two questions or three. What are you running. What do you like about it. what do you not like about it. I do not care about price.

I happen to use the Armageddon Gear Fat Bags for large bag work and do like them, but there are a number of companies offering options for that niche. I don't think that any of them hold an edge over another. Just get what you think will work for you and rock with it.

I'm using the Armageddon Gear bags

Game changer for roof tops/ tank traps/bungee/ anything irregular

Fat bag for under arm/elbow/behind thigh support

Squishy/brick for rear bags

Definitely can't go wrong with the Gamechanger. It's my go-to bag that I've learned how to use in most scenarios. I carry a large fat bag as well, but I'm beginning to use it less and less.

The bag that gets the most use out of all of the ones I've collected over the years is still my small heavy-fill rear bag. Of the larger sized bags, I use the modular WieBad "Pump Pillow" the most. And I've tried a couple of the different versions of odd shaped heavy bags but prefer the rounded edges and the non-slip surface on one side of the WieBad "Fortune Cookie" to other styles.

Basically you need something for the front and something for the back . The back seems to be answered by most people with one smaller for prone and a big pump pillow size for positional. The front is where you see everything from nothing to gamechanger. So it turns out you have to buy one of each to see which you like best. Then try and sell the ones you don't like to your buddies and tell them it's perfect for them.

I use a Game Changer, the SSG 3 bag set, and the No Name Tactical Deuce Bag.

I use the came changer on barricades, roofs, basically anything where a bipod is not the best option.

I use the small SSG bag as a rear bag most of the time, and the medium bag strapped to the bipod or over the scope anytime the game changer would inhibit movement as a front bag.

I use the SSG big bag as a rear support on roofs, under the arm, on the knee, basically anywhere a larger void needs to be filled.

I really like the straps and bungees on the SSG bags, they are very versatile bags as far as strapping them to the gun.

The Deuce Bag I use in a lot of different situations, it works really well to rest the entire rifle on like on a doghouse roof, or as a rear support off of a kneeling barricade. Sometimes I use it as a chair, both on a stage and in between stages :)

SSG has a website, and they are usually in stock http://sandsockgear.com. No Name has a website but they are always out of stock, Brad's Precision generally keeps them in stock plus I like their free shipping https://bradsprecisionrifles.com/gear/bags.html

One bag I plan to buy is that Bison Tactical "Udder" bag. I used a prototype version of it made by Warhorse at a match in Wyoming earlier this year and loved it. I borrowed the new Bison version for a stage at a recent match that worked out really well too. I think the Bison is a little more versatile than the Game Changer, but there are still a few situations where I feel the Game Changer has a leg up. I'm not sure which one I will settle on yet, but I can tell you that I won't pack both an Udder and a Game changer.

I should note that I have tried almost everything, Armageddon, Str8, Wiebad, etc... SSG and No Name just have better features. I like SSG a little bit more, but if I couldn't get SSG the No Name combo set is a very close second.

The vast majority of people you talk to or ask are always carrying at least one or both or the following: either a gamechanger/fortune cookie type bag for a front support off barricades, tank traps etc. and/or a large lightweight bag to fill voids positional shooting. The people that carry 5 or 6 bags usually only use two of them.

I use 3 different bags depending on the situation.

My rear bag is a Traust - very light weight, locks up tight with a bit of squeeze pressure and very versatile. The fill and the lighter weight fabric make for a great combination.
My "big bag" is also a Traust - The "Gamer Bag" is like a pump pillow but has a lot of extra features that come in handy (sling strap, center "belt" to cinch it up tight and make it stand up taller/more solid, easily refillable, etc)
For barricades, rocks, pipes, etc I use the "tactical udder" or saracen bag.

The guy behind Traust is a good friend of mine and myself and a few other Colorado based shooters have all had input into his gear. He's taken all that input and put it into a complete package that seems to make all of us pretty happy. Give them a look.

All Available from Bison Tactical and Mile High also carries the Traust bags.

Red Tac also has some well designed bags,I use the standard sized bag and like it.

My Traust rear bag is freaking awesome. The more I use it the more I like it. I started with a RedTac then Str8 laced, then SAP R&G. It is useful on barricades and lots of other stuff too.
