Anybody have one or have experience with one?
They are being sold for a fraction of what the mid level autos cost. Not to speak of the high level Benelli's and Beretta's.
I'd like to have a cheap auto before I later spring for a over/under.

Re: Baikal MP-153

haven't heard anything about their autos, but I've had a Baikal O/U since 2001. It has around 8,000 rounds through it without a problem, still locks up tight and smashes clays.

Re: Baikal MP-153

Function well, just not as refined as a Beretta or Benelli and most certainly a LOT heavier. Too heavy in my opinion, but it will get you into an auto for less money. You wont like 3" or 3.5" out of an o/u that is where an auto comes in.

I have had all three 3.5" autos. Sold them all and still go back to my 3" Beretta. It will keep goin when a Benelli SBE gets dirty and gummy and won't cycle. Will shot light custom loads of 1/2 oz all the way to 1 1/2 oz loads mixed together and not miss a beat. A Benelli won't cycle even 7/8's oz loads once you shoot a round of skeet or two with it 25-50 rounds you have to stop, clean and lube it.

Spend a little more like 600-700 and find a 3" Beretta Urika (not the 2) and never look back.

Just an opinion, But I have played with all of em personally.
