Gunsmithing Barrel Contour Question

Anyone know if the AICS will take a M24 contour barrel without modification?

I forgot to ask the other half of it - will it also take a Badger recoil lug, again without modifying the chasis?

Negative on that one, you will need to have the lug channel milled for the badger lug. Not a big deal though.

the recoil lug recess in my latest AICS measured .196"

i chucked my barreled action and faced the recoil lug from the barrel side to .194". the process took maybe 20 minutes and it works perfectly.
